DescriptionThe image is of a group of figures traveling across the plane of the work from right to left. The foreground is tropical vegetation with two palm trucks extending off the top of the plane, one on the left and one on the right. The group consists of men, women and children, led by men carrying a box like item suspended by staves on their shoulders. Several women carry jugs and baskets on their heads. The group also includes domestic animals such as sheep, goats, donkeys and llamas. At the end a man and a woman turn to look behind.On View
