DescriptionThe image is a landscape with rocks and brush in the foreground, a mountain covered in green trees in the middle ground, and distant mountains in the background. There are rocks in the lower left corner that angle down to the bottom center of the work. These rocks are shadowed and dark brown brush grows on them. A thin, sparsely-leaved tree grows in the lower right corner; its branches grow upward along the right side of the work and touch the top edge. In the middle ground, there is a central mountain that peaks slightly to the left of center. It is light tan and a forest of green trees covers portions of its sides and peak. The mountains in the background are painted in shades of blue, grey, and lavender. There is a small strip of light, hazy sky at the top of the work. On View
