DescriptionThe image consists of a still life foreground behind which a cityscape is visible. The still life is a rounded vase filled with roses and fern sitting on a table top; the window behind the floral arrangement is draped with fabric that frames the window on both edges of the support. The cityscape seen out of the window has a large square with a statue on a pedestal in its center, a structure facing the square with four columns in the facade, and multi-storied structures with water towers on the roofs.
