DescriptionThe image is a mountain landscape in which the foreground consists of a rushing river, traveling down the center of the composition, cutting through rock terrain on either side. Pine trees appear in the middle ground and behind them two mountains dominate the background; the front mountains fills the center, ascends up on the left and does not have snow, the rear mountain peaks just left of center and is covered with snow.
