DescriptionThe center foreground of the composition is a small body of water that is surrounded by marsh, a line of cattails crossing the water near the front with a bird perched on a cattail. In the middle ground the marsh gives way to a line of trees that cross the visual plane with a break in the center that gives a view to the green pasture beyond. Large snowcapped mountains appear in the background.
