DescriptionThe image is a winter landscape with a paved road that begins in the left foreground and curves into the right middle ground. Snow covered ground dotted with scrub fill in both sides of the road. Two mountainsides, also covered in snow, descend to form a pass just left of center. The sky is filled with thick brushstrokes in tones of white and gray.
