DescriptionA Buddhist triad of Shakyamuni and two Bodhisattva attendants rendered after the style of the famous bronze triad in the Horyuji Temple in Nara. The Buddha sits on a draped platform and an ivory base which has a flower and leaf pattern carved on it. Seven additional relief figures appear around the head of the Buddah, and the mandala backdrop comes to a point at the top.On View
