DescriptionCentral to the image is a young Native American female figure holding the reigns of a saddled horse who has dipped his head to drink out of a body of water. A large tree stands in the right foreground. Behind the tree two additional figures can be seen sitting on the ground next to the water’s edge. In the background the water and its bank travels to the left of the canvas with foliage beyond the bare riverbank.
