DescriptionThe image's central feature is a bald eagle caught in flight with the wings extended and the talons open; the eagle flies high above a village nestled amidst green rolling hills. The background sky is divided into thirds, a red sunrise or sunset, a white expanse, and blue with white stars.

Directly below the eagle image is a printed poem by Joseph Rodman Drake entitled "The American Flag." Below the poem is black print that reads "AMERICAN PAPER & SUPPLY CO." / "Fine Printing Paper - Wrapping Paper - Paper Bags - Wax Paper - Twine" / "Dial 4-3679" / "157 West Second South, SALT LAKE CITY 1, UTAH"

A 1944 calendar (Jan-Dec) is stapled to the lower half of the sheet.

Below the calendar in LL corner is printed "23061 Painting by N.C. Wyeth"
