DescriptionThe image is an illustration for the publication Harper's Weekly. The composition depicts an outdoor scene filled with multiple figures and animals. The majority of figures are male with one female figure seated upon a horse and wearing a striped dress. The male figures are depicted both on horse and on foot surrounding the focal point of the image, a bull-like figure in the lower right corner with an object above it that resembles a lasso. In the top center of the image is a line of small birds disappearing into the background.
