DescriptionThe image is a sketched graphite study of a sculpture of two muscular nude figures wrestling. Both figures seem to be standing on what appears to be a platform. The figure on top has their proper right fist and elbow in the air while using their proper left arm to grip the figure below. The standing figure's proper left leg is heavily shaded, and the figure stands turned towards the left support. The kneeling figure below is faced towards the lower right corner and has their proper left arm supporting their weight, while their proper right arm is extended above the head.
