DescriptionCentral to the image is a juvenile male figure perched on a tree stump with a fishing pole across his lap; he is clothed in a white button down shirt open at the collar, khaki pants rolled up at the hem with holes in the knees, suspenders, and a straw hat. Around the base of the tree stump cattails grow, out of which three female figures emerge, one to the left, one the right and one peeking out from behind. A white cloud highlights the background. A scroll across the bottom of the work reads "Summer Time."On View
