DescriptionThe image depicts a semi-nude male figure in a three-quarter view from the knees up. The figure is contemplating two floating ears of corn to his proper right. The ears of corn are perpendicular to each other, with the upper ear vertical and the lower ear horizontal. The male figure's arms are bent, with his proper left arm held perpendicular to his body and his proper right arm vertical, the hand poised to grasp the vertical ear of corn. The background is shaded thickly around the male figure but gradually lightens in the upper two corners. The area immediately around the vertical ear of corn is lightly shaded. On View
