    DescriptionThe image is a three-quarter length portrait of a seated female figure with dark brown hair and dark eyes; the figure is seated facing the left corner of the canvas however the figure's head is turned looking over her left shoulder off to the right of the canvas. The figure's hands are laid on top of one another on her lap near her left hip; she is wearing a mustard yellow dress with collar and cuffs edged in brown and thin blue ribbon hanging from the neckline, the blue repeated around the wrists.
