DescriptionThe image is a black and white photograph of a stage set which includes stairs and a ramp leading up to a platform that uses arches draped with fabric as a backdrop; a chandelier hangs overhead. A cast of characters fill the visual space of the stage; the characters are predominately male figures clothed in Cavalier style costumes though a handful of female figures are interspersed throughout. On the platform, left of center, a solitary male figure orates with arms flung out while, right of center, two sets of couples are seated.On View
