DescriptionThe image is a landscape executed in an Impressionistic style. The foreground is visually divided into half, the left side consisting of green growth, the right side consisting of a fallow field. In the middle ground a line of haystacks begin on the right with a figure standing next to them; on the left an open field has a path or road bisecting through it leading to a cluster of structures, the buildings having white walls and red roofs. The sky is atmospheric with clouds.
