DescriptionAccession No. MEX.BAY.9-K. Cut glass lighting fixture, electric, six-light with rope-twisted pressed glass arms curving up and forward from a metal ring. Thistle-shaped shades pressed and cut, with a scalloped edge. Between the arms, curved, pressed, leaf-like forms extend outward and support two tiered tulip-shaped "bell," the lower, smaller one with a cut round prisim. extending beneath the metal support is a cut and pressed pendant art covering a pipe which terminates in a single light socket. This is covered by an invertedonion-shaped globe with diaper cutting. Extending down and out from supporting ring are six, C-scroll, rope twisted ornamental arms supporting flower-shaped fleur-de-lis like pendants prism-hung. Also, attached to metal supports are six large faceted knobs, each backed by a pressed and cut star-shaped flower. Upper portion of supporting pipe concealed by flared, tubular unit of brillant qualityglass cut down from a larger unit and not matching any motifs on this chandelier.

CRL (8/28/1989): Missing two globes. Condition; one light arm broken; one pendant drop on Fleur-de-lis broken.
