DescriptionThe image is a landscape executed in an Impressionistic style depicting a small village set within a mountain valley. The cluster of buildings are anchored by three large structures, one in the foreground and two in the middle ground; all three buildings have hip roofs however the one in the foreground has a chimney stack in the roof while the two in the middle ground have chimneys on each end. The smaller buildings have gable roofs; trees and bushes surround the structures and there is a yellow haystack in front of the foremost building. The background hills are green and orange with white clouds billowing behind them.On View
