DescriptionThe etching image is of a female figure seated on the ground; the legs are bent at the knees, the right arm placed behind the body for support, the left arm is draped over the raised knees, and the head is in classic profile facing the right edge of the support. The figure is clothed in a loose full-length dress and long hair is gathered at the nape of the neck. To the right of the figure is a flamingo perched on one leg. The Remarque is in the lower right corner and consists of a female head in profile, facing left, gazing down.
