DescriptionThe image is a painting of an interior scene which features a young male figure and a young female figure at a small table. Both figures are seated with their backs on a large paned window, framed by sheer white curtains. A couple of potted, vine-like plants sit on the right side of the windowsill, partially hidden behind the curtain. The female figure is seated on the right side of the image. She wears dark clothing, and her hair is pulled back in a small bun. Her head is slightly bowed, and she looks intently at the white cloth embroidery in her hands. The male figure on the left also wears dark clothing and has his head bowed. He wears a pair of small spectacles and examines his hands which are held in front of him in a gentle clasp. On the table between the two figures there is an open wooden box with embroidery materials and a small vase with a few bright yellow flowers. On View
