DescriptionThe image is an engraving of a domestic interior scene which features an old woman seated on the lower rungs of a ladder, holding a large bowl in her lap for two young, barefooted boys to eat from. One boy faces the woman with a spoon held out in his right hand, the other stands behind the pair, lifting his spoon to his mouth. There is a Dutch door at the far left with the top half opened. Three ducks stand in the lower right corner.
