DescriptionThe work shows a series of light colored circles onto each of which is imposed a silhouette resembling a hand shadow puppet and the outline of two hands which imitate the shape of the silhouette. There are three rows with six images on each row. The shapes in the circles resemble the heads of the following animals and figures, starting at the top left and going to the right: a duck, a dog, a horse, a bird, a rabbit, another dog, a chicken, a cow, a goat, a two-horned devil figure, a four-horned human figure, a large-nosed human figure with a horn, a human figure wearing a cap, a female figure, a female figure from the torso up, a female figure from the hips up with her arms held away from her body, and a female figure taking hold of the outlined hands in the same circle. To the right of the last circle is a silhouette of trouser leg and foot. At the bottom of the work is a black text box with the word "Simpson" on the left and the word "Sequence" in the center. On View
