    DescriptionThe image depicts two youthful figures, one male and one female, seated in a wood landscape. The male figure is clothed a white shirt that is open on the chest, brown breeches, blue boots, and wears a dark hat decorated with a band of red ribbon and a sprig of flowers; the figure holds a reed-style flute in his right hand and a drumstick in his left hand. The female figure sits behind and to the right of the male and has her hands placed near her chin; a basket is on her lap. A large tree trunk fills the left side background.
