DescriptionThe image is a landscape depicting a boat yard scene; the foreground consists of sandy earth on which a boat is beached right of center, beyond lays a small body of water. Central to the composition is a light green structure, placed just left of center, with two gangways coming off the front corner, one leading to the left edge and one leading to the right; a bright orange barrel or drum sits at the top intersection of the gangways. Masts of larger boats can be seen in the background; a portion of a secondary building is on the left edge while a tree is on the right edge.
