DescriptionThe image is of a village scene depicting road and building structure. In the background one large mountain and one smaller mountain are visible above the fog. At the left side of the work there is a small building with rows of flags extending out of it to the large building next to it. In between the flags are a few trees that extend to the top of the work. The largest and most prominent building near the center of the work has a dark black roof, an awning and porch are attached to the front of it. Numerous human figures stand in and in front of the building, many of them carrying loads. A road continues past the building off the right, lined by trees and small black mountains. Two human figures are on the road, carrying loads with their backs to the audience. There are Japanese characters in the upper right portion of the work.On View
