DescriptionThe image is a knee-length portrait of an aging male figure standing next to a desk or table on his left. The figure is balding with white hair covering the sides and has a full white mustache; the figure is clothed in a dark three piece suit with a gold watch chain visible on the waistcoat, a white butterfly collar shirt, and a dark tie with a stick pin. The figure rests his left hand on papers lying on the corner of the desk while his right hand is inserted his trouser pocket. The background consists of dark mottled colors.
