DescriptionA woman and a man are sitting in a living room. On the left, the woman sits in a white armchair with black polka dots on it. She has one leg tucked under the other and is reading a large paper. A side table with a chessboard and spotted lamp sits to her proper left. The man sits in a black and white striped chair in the lower right corner. He smokes a cigarette and is reading a small book. In the upper right corner is a window with drapes parted, revealing a cityscape. The walls of the room are blank white, and the floor is a flat black. Behind the woman, along the left edge, is a black and white checkered curtain.
