DescriptionThe image is a still life in which two fish lay on a pewter platter that is central to the composition. To the lower right of the platter two stalks of celery lay directly on the surface of the table. To the upper right of the platter a vase in a subtle shade of blue is set. In the lower left of the canvas is a round object, possibly an onion. With the exception of the blue vase and a few orange highlights on the pewter platter and fish, the entire work is in tones of browns.On View
