DescriptionA large stone bridge spans a river that enters the visual plane in the middle ground on the left and flows down to fill the entire foreground. The bridge is topped with wrought iron fencing and on the left are two lamp posts and a vehicle of some kind, possibly a bus. On the right side of the bridge a bank of trees partially obscures a cathedral that rises up behind them. The sky is atmospheric with clouds.
