The middle ground on the left has a line of trees that retain their foliage; two barren trees lean to the right hanging over the stream. The right side of the middle ground consists of larger shrubs. The background has trees on the right and a line of mountains span the horizon. In the sky a flock of birds fly in a V-formation.
