Biographyof Germantown, Pennsylvania, and Spring City, Utah, is a painter of small works in oil of admirably honest and surprisingly subtle scenes. She quit high school before graduation in favor of study at the Maryland Institute Art School in Baltimore, preceding a depression-era struggle as a craftsman-painter. Moving to Spring City in 1970, Peacock is now an award-winning artist at the Mormon Arts Festival and elsewhere, and her work is often on view at the Phillips Gallery in Salt Lake City and a variety of other places.
