BiographyMacFarlane, Donald Astin (1940-), of Cedar City, Provo, and Orem, as well as Greeley, Colorado, is an art teacher and oil painter who does fantasy, figurative, landscape, and still-life works on canvas. MacFarlane learned how to do all of this at Brigham Young University (B.A., M.A., M.F.A.), and today is on the faculty of the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. He is a brother of Keith MacFarlane. (b. September 27)
