In 1945 he opens a modest furniture workshop in Paris, and due to its success opens branch offices in London and a factory in Marocco.He produces furniture in small series: floor lamps, diverse objects predominately in metal of airy forms, latticework or perforated metal sheeting.
He exhibits the three-legged "Nagasaki" chair as well as other major pieces at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and the Salon des Arts Ménagers.
In 1959, he stops furniture design to work solely as a decorator.
