THEODORE EARL BUTLER

1861 - 1936
BiographyTheodore Earl Butler (1876-1937) a well known twentieth century artist, demonstrated his brilliance in portraiture and landscape paintings. As a young student he traveled to Europe and studied with Claude Monet. While in Paris, Mr. Butler was awarded honorable mention in the Salon of 1880 and later exhibited his work in the Salon d'Automne and the Societe des Artistes Independents (of which he was a member) from 1907-1935.
