HAROLD W. WOOLSTON1906-1993

Woolston, Harold Worlton (1906-1993). Born in Lehi, Utah, this talented color impressionist painter and teacher became interested in art while on an LDS mission in the Carmel, California, area. Returning to Utah, he studied with Philip Barkdall (q.v.), E. H. Eastmond (q.v.), and B. F. Larsen (q.v.) at Brigham Young University. Woolston graduated in 1933, and became an art instructor at Pleasant Grove High School. He has exhibited his work statewide, including Springville Museum National April Salons, stretching over an almost fifty-year period. Harold Woolston lived in Orem with his wife, Fay White Woolston (q.v.). (b. March 6)
