Adolf Dehn's awards, honors and museum representations would cover pages if listed in their entirety. He is one of the few artists to have built an international reputation for lithography. For many sucessive years his works were selected for inclusion in the 50 prints of the Year and for outstanding exhibitions of lithography. His work hangs in the Metropolitan Museum, Whitney Museum, Addison gallery of American Art, Minneapolis Institute, and museums in St. Louis, Wichita, Terre Haute, Chicago, Boston, Newark, San Francisco, Milwaukee, Honolulu, Londo, Oslo, and many others. His water colors are also in many museums, including the Metropolitan, and in the collection of Encyclopaedia Britannica. In addition to a Guggenheim Fellowship, he holds the Watson F. Blair purchase Prize at the Chicago International Water Color Exhibition, and First Prize from the Philadelphia Art Alliance and Philadelphia Print Club, as well as Second Prize from the John Hetron Art Institute.
