DescriptionThe sculpture depicts a male Native American figure caught in movement with the figure's left leg lifted at the knee, the foot not touching the ground; the figure wears an elaborate, roach style headdress with two feathers hanging down on the left side of his head, a loincloth, necklace, armbands, anklets with bells, and moccasins. The figure holds six hoops, three of which are intertwined between his legs; the clothing and hoops are painted gold, the necklace is painted turquoise, and the figure's body is glazed and shiny. The object is mounted on a green, marble base.
