DescriptionThe object is a bronze sculpture of a male Native American seated on a horse. The horse does not have a saddle but the male figure does hold the reins of a thin bridle in his proper left hand. The horse's chin is tucked down to its chest and its neck is curved. Its front two legs are straight and positioned close together and it is leaning slightly backward with the weight on the back legs. The male figure is wearing a feathered headdress that cascades down his back, a loin cloth, moccasins, and necklaces; the figure's hair is braided and the proper right arm is raised high into the air with the hand clinched in a fist.On View
