DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which a road, covered in snow, fills the foreground and recedes into the distance just left of center. A low rock wall, also covered in snow, follows the right edge of the road and barren trees, with hanging remnants of dead leaves, line the right side of the rock wall and, further down the road, on the left. A structure is placed in the middle ground to the right of the road; the house is white with green shutters at the windows and has a gambrel roofline and a telescoping extension off the rear. The road disappears into background hills.
