DescriptionThe image is a landscape executed in an Impressionistic style. The foreground consists of two toned brown barren earth, darker on the left and lighter on the right; in the middle ground there is a kidney shaped pool of water, reflecting the brown trees and light sky which are in the background. In the background are two clusters of trees, the cluster on the left leaning to the left. In the far distance an additional grouping of trees can be seen on the left.
