DescriptionThe image is a painting of the roofs of a collection of small, intimately spaced buildings. The roofs vary in height and shape but have a general downward slope from the left side of the work to the right. The predominant colors in the image are warm, dusty reds and browns. The roof in the bottom center of the image is tiled and has a chimney on the left side. Just beyond the roofs in the upper quadrant of the image there is a distant hill with trees and a serene body of water. On View
