DescriptionThis is a horizontal, oil painting of a still life scene. At center is a dimly lit table with a copper kettle with its spout facing left. To the right of the kettle is a bundle of green, pea-like vegetables. To the left of the kettle is a bumpy, yellow squash with its stem teetering on the edge of the table. In the background, shrouded in shadow behind the squash is some sort of gourd.
