DescriptionThe image is a landscape whose foreground consists of a body of water in which four cows stand; from left to right there is a light brown adult cow, a black adult cow, a reddish brown adult cow, and a reddish brown calf. On the bank behind the cattle two large old growth trees with spreading limbs are placed just left of center; under the trees is a split rail fence. To the left of the split rail fence an opening allows a view to the country beyond with a stone fence extending to the left edge.On View
