DescriptionThis is a vertical, oil painting. At center is a nude model standing on table, her back in shadow with arms raised and hands on crown of head. In the background are nine artists working at their easels. Behind the artists half way up the back wall is a shelf with various books propped on it--and on the far right is a bust of a male, facing top right corner. In the lower left corner, below the model is flash of bright red paint. The far right edge appears to be covered by a dark wall or curtain from top to bottom.
