DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which a dirt road enters the foreground from the left and curves to the center foreground; on the road is a male figure clothed in what appears to be a short toga-style garment. The figure's left hand is raised to his face; his right hand carries a walking stick. A hound walks in front of the figure, the dog placed just left of the center front. In the middle ground, on the right, a body of water has two small boats with figures floating on it. Beyond the water structures form a small town or city scape; to the left of the structures a small hill is covered with dense foliage. A mountain silhouette can be seen in the distance on the right. On View
