DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which trees and foliage fill the foreground with a small body of water in the lower right at which four female figure gather, two are in the water and two, one standing and one lounging, are on the bank. In the central middle ground a fifth figure lays on the grass in a patch of sunlight, and, to the right, a sixth figure walks toward the center. Beyond the middle ground a large structure appears in the center; behind and to the right a town or city can be seen on a hilltop.
