DescriptionEtching of a group of people gathered around a cross. In the foreground to the right there are two people huddled on the ground. To the left there is someone standing and watching the scene. There are people standing around the cross and on ladders leaning against the cross touching and supporting the Christ-like figure, who is naked except for cloths draped on him. All the other people are fully dressed. Someone is bent across the very top of the cross. A beam of light shins from the otherwise plain sky, down onto the cross.
