DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which green covered hills in the foreground slope down to become the shoreline of a body of water in the middle ground. In the lower left two trees grow out of a hilltop and extend along the left edge of the composition; beneath the trees a male figure reclines on the grass. Hills are visible beyond the water and two sailboats can be seen near the far shore right of center.
