    DescriptionThe image is a landscape setting in which the foreground is filled with male figures clothed in civilian clothes but mounted on horses and using guns and swords; in the middle ground three structures, two complete log cabins and one frame, are clustered together with a stand of trees on the left. Beyond the cabins figures, female and juvenile, run away across an open field.
