DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which the foreground consists of a flat, open agricultural field; a white road crosses the middle ground extending from the left edge to the right. Beyond the road are three hay stacks; one is large, cylindrical with a cone shaped top, one is a low loose pile, and one is a medium mound. The horizon line in the distance is flat with the exception of a group of trees on the far right.
